Want some cookies??

Tiba-tiba terasa pulak nak buat cookies. Google punyer google terjumpa this cute  cute cookies. It is actually a butter cookies.


So we baked these cookies on one of the weekend.
Seronott giler heheh..mula2 Adly & Dd sangat beriya2 then after a while mulaa laah main2. Adly got bored with the koalala he came up with an idea nak buat muka girl & boy last-last they ended up some koalas got cross-eyed, the boys face ended up looking like an old boys and the girls ended up looking like old ladies..hehe

Buat benda2 cam nih kena sabor banyak2 sebab boys nih mula laa buat lawak2 and then things got pretty messy elok2 buat faces bulat-bulat tetiba ended jadik dinosaur laa, snake laa, dragon laa then haa jadik berterabur tepung laa, koko crunch laa lepas tu bantaii gelak masing2 punyer kerja tangan and lagik skett mama tak ended up jadikk mak tarzan ^___^mata saya dah juling2 bila muka adik dia dah penuh dengan tepung and her hair terlekat koko krunch and M& M's sebab itu laa mama only baked cookies once a year hahah (alasan!).

Abg Dd brought his koalas & gurlzz cookies as a snack & it was a hit at school! We shall make these again in a few months time yeaa anak-anak! LOL!

Tanglung Festival!

Hanya  Dd, Mama & Lily like to eat mooncake. Selalunya..bila makan mesti leave the
delicious yolk last sekali and then savour makan pelan-pelan. Sebab itu bila hidang telur masin...putih tak makan tapie yg kuning or oren sudaa hilang (haha) Papa selalu tegur sebab kurang sopan sebab selalu ambik yg kuning sahaja.
Nowadays mooncakes varies in flavours in a raspberry cheese laa, tiramisu choc truffles laa and in patterns as well (mooncake with a starbucks logo) so canggih! ada yg style cam agar-agar pun ada with durian & pandan fillings. But I still prefers the traditional ones the one that filled with lotus seed paste & salty yolk in the middle. Dulu..it was hard to get the halal ones soo..our mooncakes baked by Aunty Mimi aka YeePoh Rita. She was an excellent baker! There's always something going on in the kitchen when she's around bila dia tak busy dengan kerja...delicious homemade foodie like kaya jem, cakes, roasted chicken, popias, vegetarian dish, etc..of course halal!
Masa saya kecik2 dulu we always looked forward for Mid Autumn Festival because this was the only time I could play lanterns till midnight or till the candles was out with my cousin Karen & my younger sister Lijot aka Achu at our great grandma's house or affectionately known as 'Popo' in KepongBaru. Masa tuu we would lit the lanterns with candles of course with adults supervision. Nowadays it came with battery operated and some annoying 'barbie doll' music. Wah! so advanced itupun Adly & Dd keep on asking whether is this the only way we play the lantern and that was it? hehe these two boys ingat ini some kind of robotronics lantern ker haper? kelakar betul..

Wanton Quick Recipe

wanton goreng always been my favourite. Masa kecik-kecik always lipat-lipat benda nih dengan arwah mom. At that point of time..I only knew how to make scrunchy style jer janji ngap masuk mulut hehe.
So this is a very delicious appetizer. The kids kalau makan tak berhenti. Best makan masa tengah panas otherwise the wantan skin can become soggy & liat.  Once in a while we made these little appetizer kasik neighbour sebelah plus pulangkan pinggan *hik*malu*

Mama's Cookies Attempt!

Mama aka me last year cookies attempt was a complete disaster! I'm a novice baker what to do!! so don't blame me! He he he.
I went to buy all the nitty-gritty stuff for baking as if she gonna open a bakery! The only loyal person who could nibble the cookies although the cookies tasted horrible (*tak cukup manis, rasa sepesen) was our dear Tokwan hahah siap bagi nice compliments " Mmm bolehh laa..boleh makan". Papa pulak refused dok kata..later! later!
The two boys pulak ran at the sight of me when I carried out the tray and was calling them rupanyer hidding themselves in their room. Anyway..today ehm..this year Mama baked  these lovely & delicious cookies called Vanilla Kipferl with the help from Opah PD. Well..mama has succeeded! Yipeee!! No more bad cookies!!
