Tortilla Mexican Flat Bread

longing for mamak's roti canai..but then..rasa malas nak keluar because need to pack lots of things especially the baby bag and all..finally decided to stay home jer and was crackin' my head for fast and simple breakfast and the kids already bosan with cereal, kuih-muih and goreng2 then I stumbled this delicious recipe by azareena of myresipi.com .  So this is it...roti tortilla ala canai mamak's..dapat dlm 15 pieces buat sikit with beef filling the rest cicah curry. Yummeh!! Thank you so much...for sharing this speedy recipe..
Tortilla Recipe:
3 cawan tepung gandum
1 sk garam
2 sk baking powder
4 sudu besar shortening or 3 3/4 sudu vegetable oil (* I use corn oil jer)
1 1/4 cawan air suam

Method:
1. Campur all bahan2 kering dlm mangkuk
2. Add in minyak/shortening and gaul sampai sebati
3. Add in air sikit-sikit till jadik dough
4. Divide about 12 biji bola kecik2 and rehatkan doh for about 10 mins
5. Canaikan doh macam roti canai
6. Goreng tanpa minyak atas non-stick pan for a few minutes. Angkat & served.
